Muker, a small village in Upper Swaledale, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, benefits from two public spaces, its Public Hall and Muker Literary Institute. Each has different histories and characteristics. Until recently they both had separate Trustees but earlier this year both sets of Trustees voted to amalgamate and this is in now in the process of being finalised. Both are available to hire (see Hiring). Please contact us if you are interested in hiring either or both venues. We hope you find this site interesting and useful.
PLEASE NOTE THAT MUKER HALL AND INSTITUTE ARE NOW CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK. WE WILL PROVIDE UPDATES ON THE SITUATION REGARDING THE HALL AND INSTITUTE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES, AS WE ARE MADE AWARE OF THESE.
