The Lower Room of the Institute is used for regular meetings of different organisations such as Muker Show Committee and the Parish Council.   It has also been used for temporary exhibitions of arts and crafts by local artists.  It now hosts a free exhibition featuring historic photos and artefacts that relate to Muker to which you are welcome (donations to the donation box for the upkeep of the building and the exhibition would be welcome).  It is open in the day most days during the summer months, but if you are planning a visit, please contact the Secretary by email or by phone to check that it will be open.

The upstairs room is used as a practice room by Muker Silver Band on Monday evenings and you will be able to hear it from outside the building!  If you are interested in the band, please contact them directly through their website.
