With just one week to go to the Muker Show there is a lot to look forward to with thousands of entries in the various categories for sheep, horticulture, baking, photography and children’s handwriting.
If you are planning to visit Muker the Literary Institute is worth a visit and we would love to receive any book donations – just place them inside the Institute.
In addition, Swaledale Woollens and The Old School Gallery will both be open and provide the opportunity to purchase gifts and souvenirs from the village.
The Tea Shop continues to provide an excellent choice of refreshments and the Farmers Arms will also be open.
