On Saturday night the Hall hosted a gig by Muker Boy Band which raised £300 to be split between two charities – Herriot Hospice Homecare and Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team. It was the first public event to make full use of the new wall lighting in the hall (see below for the hall set up before the gig). Many of the audience commented on how atmospheric and welcoming it made the hall look.

There was a very creative day yesterday in the Hall – a workshop organised by the Old School Gallery in Muker where participants, under the guidance of Shona Brannigan, made fabulous prints of cross sections of wood.
