The annual domino drive in aid of Hall funds will take place on Friday November 2nd at 7:30 in the hall. As usual there will be supper and a raffle and excellent prizes! Entry including supper is only £4.

We have just received some lovely photos of Muker Band from this year’s Show, taken by Elsie Whitehead.
………..And on Saturday the Alderson Society had their annual meeting in the hall. As part of it, Norman Guy, the Muker Band bandmaster, gave a talk on the history of the band illustrating it with historic photos and a demonstration of brass music using a hosepipe!
The hall has been well used over the last few days. As usual it was used for the judges reception and lunch during Muker Show last Wednesday; the day was a great success and the hall looked splendid with its new curtains and table clothes for the cups………
It was a great social evening last night at the annual cheese and wine party. Plenty of good company, laughter, food and music from the Silver Band. For those of you who missed it there is always next year!
